For the past few years, I've been doing all of my own jewelry photography. It's been a fun and challenging process. Photographing jewelry is so different than photographing landscapes and sculptural installations, which is primarily what my photography focus had always been. It's quite a shift in scale.
This past month, I teamed up with a Minneapolis based duo Lydia and Emilie Photography on some photos of my jewelry. I selected a handful of pieces for them to style and photograph. I think they did a great job of capturing the jewelry and including a figure and the outside world. It was a treat to see how another photographer captured my jewelry.
